Getting Started with the Core5

If you are new or just getting started in “Ginghamsburg U,” our adult education program, our recommendation is to start with our five foundational courses, called the Core5:

• Ginghamsburg DNA: also known as "Pizza with the Pastors" is a one-session explanation of Ginghamsburg's mission, direction and organization (Next options are Saturday, May 17 @ 6:15 p.m. or Sunday, May 18 @ 12:45 p.m., both behind the stage in Main Campus 117)

• Basic Training: a how-to course where you learn the basics of the Christian life, including reading and studying the Bible, prayer and other essentials

• A Follower’s Life: understand key hallmarks of the Christian life according to scripture – plus become a church member at the conclusion if you wish

• Ministry By Strengths: connect with God’s specific ministry dreams for your life through your strengths, life experiences and faith

• Community Life: learn God’s design for healthy relationships of all kinds, and to either connect into or enhance your involvement in a cell group

• Forgive For Good: transform your heart and mind by learning how to let go of past hurts and grudges, and live forward into emotional/spiritual freedom

• Talk Your Walk:  it's important not only to demonstrate your faith but learn how to share your faith story comfortably with those whom God brings your way

• Boundaries: revolutionize your relationships and your own self-respect by learning how to make healthy choices when interacting with others—applicable your family, friends, in parenting and the workplace
