worship celebration time:
For community rides, unless otherwise noted, meet in the west parking lot of Ginghamsburg's Main Campus at 12:45 p.m. with a full tank of gas. Road rules will be reviewed at that time as well as the plan for the day. If you have a ride idea, email us at brokenchains(at)ginghamsburg.org.
Meet at the Ginghamsburg Main Campus west parking lot with your bike gassed up and ready to ride. Invite your friends to join us- all bikes welcome!
Ride together to Wapakoneta (via I-75). Then depart from there at 6:30 p.m. to escort the wall to Custenborder Field in Sidney, site of the Healing Field of Flags. For more info, visit www.shelbycountyhistory.org.
Help team with others from Broken Chains to greet and to give away water at this free concert. Guitarist Eric Loy begins at 6:30 p.m., then the Termites (with music from the 50’s to the present) at 7:30. Arrive by 4:30 p.m. to help set up our Broken Chains tent, or by 6 p.m. to serve. Biker Dan Bishop was in a near-fatal motorcycle accident, and this event will help with his medical and recovery expenses. Registration 2-3 p.m.($10/rider, plus $5/passenger—includes door prize drawing ticket), then join Broken Chains for a scenic ride. Main activities 4-8 p.m. at Total Image with band, DJ and food. Ride the rolling hills of southwest Ohio to this beautiful early-fall location. After a meal together (your own expense), we’ll take a beautiful route home to enjoy the countrywide before arriving back to the Dayton area. [no rain date]
