For community rides, unless otherwise noted, meet in the west parking lot of Ginghamsburg's Main Campus at 12:45 p.m. with a full tank of gas. Road rules will be reviewed at that time as well as the plan for the day. If you have a ride idea, contact Carl Krumroy at 937.418.2182 or brokenchains(at)ginghamsburg.org.
Sunday, February 28 @ 4-6 p.m.
South Campus Ark
You’re invited to make your favorite chili recipe and bring it to our Broken Chains Motorcyclists kickoff event for the new year 2010! Not a chili chef? Then bring a side dish, dessert, liter of soda or toppings for the chili to share. Special awards will be given for the best mild, medium, hot and “nuclear” chili!
We’ll have an opportunity to remember and celebrate our 2009 rides, leaders and service projects, as well as brainstorm ideas for ride destinations and service opportunities for 2010. Come connect with others who love riding and are passionate about the mission of Broken Chains as we look forward to the spring ride season!
Saturday, March 13 @ 9:30- 11:30 a.m.
Ginghamsburg Main Campus 117
Attend a two- hour training session on biker safety, organization and our Broken Chains mission, and qualify to purchase and wear a Broken Chains backpatch on your vest or jacket this ride season! No preregistration required to attend, and you do not need to bring your bike.
