Thank you for your interest in serving on the Christmas Committee at New Path Outreach - we are excited to begin planning another Christ-mas filled with miracles for families in need. This event will provide 3 gifts for each of the 500 plus people we expect serve this year. Because this is a projected number and only the Lord know what he has planned for us, we need to prepare for the miracles God will do. As we begin to plan, we will be setting up teams to plan each section of the event. An event of this size will need planning that each team can execute- marrying all the parts as one big extravaganza! That will glorify our Lord and honor his birthday! Because the Lord has gifted each one of us uniquely, please pray about your call and your role in this project.
This person will direct the entire project working closely with all Team Leaders and problem solving.
This person will direct all room set-ups and servant needs for the event and will work very closely with the Servant Coordinator and Merchandise Set-up as well.
This team will coordinate administrative needs for the entire project- handling communication requests, tracking forms, working with the inventory coordinator and tracking family’s forms, invitations, and gift tags and any other printed or papers needed- will work closely with Project Director.
This team will coordinate will other team leaders to fill servant roles for the project.
This team will seek donations for refreshments and will serve families, as well as provide main entrance security/host for the event.
This team will provide musical entertainment such as carolers and background music inside the event.
This team will take in donations and keep a running inventory of items received and work with Solicitation Team to be sure gifts are requested for each age group as needed.
This team requires creative thinking and a flair of displays to set up the merchandise for the actual event- some wrapped and some not.
This team will solicit gifts from anywhere and everywhere throughout the months of October through December until the 1st day of the event- requires out going personality and boldness to ask everyone they know and come in contact with.
This team will acquire products needed for gift wrapping and will be on hand during the event for wrapping of gifts.
This team will plan and acquire costumes and props and sound equipment for a live nativity scene.
This team will plan for the event a personal shopper for each family served- this requires a knack for serving others with mercy and will coordinate “foot washing” of Christmas families- Servant heart is a must!
This team requires creative thinking and a flair of the dramatic- they will set up the decorations for the actual event- must be resourceful because we have a zero operating budget! Decorated trees will be raffled at the event, and they will decorated by your team!
Perhaps the most vital ingredient of the entire production- the prayer team leaders will gather prayer requests from team leaders & co-leaders and pray over the entire project, staff and servant needs- requires faith, and endurance as well as commitment to serve other’s with prayer.
