65+ Life Group Launch
To grow spiritually, knowing what Jesus said is not enough. We grow the most when we APPLY what Jesus said. At Ginghamsburg, we believe that happens best when we are connected relationally with one another in small group community. Are you ready to take that next, important step on your journey with Jesus?
BE PART OF A 65+ LIFE GROUP LAUNCH THIS SUMMER
Note: PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Thursday, August 2, 6-7:30pm
Pastor Chris Heckaman and Gary and Catherine Crowell are hosting at the Crowells’ home.
Register now to be part of a life group launch event this summer. When you register and show up that evening, we will enjoy a simple meal together, talk briefly about what it means to do life together in small group community AND get you connected with other people who are seeking a group with those in a similar life stage. The information you provide ahead of time will help us create an initial match with a group that you will meet with that night (you can do some swapping if that group lands on logistics that do not work for you; your call). Groups can then take a few minutes to plan their next steps together.
We will provide the main dish, beverages and paperware – you are invited to bring a salad, side or dessert to share.
You will receive a confirmation when you register, giving the host home address and other details.
- Arrive when you can and grab some grub: 6-6:45pm
- Talk about doing life together: 6:45-7pm
- Meet up with your new leader and group to schedule your next step: 7-7:30pm
These groups will be for seasoned folks who want to continue their Jesus journey with others in a similar life stage. Each group will start with a provided curriculum about what it means to be in community together and will then have access to various studies.
