John Jung, is the director and clinical supervisor at New Creation Counseling Center as well as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. John holds a Masters of Science degree in counseling from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Xavier University. John presents numerous workshops of continuing education for Leadership Troy, Edison State College, Sidney Chamber of Commerce and other organizations. He has over 30 years of experience in administration of public mental health programs and sits on several boards for non-profit agencies.
Kitty Kincaid is the associate director of New Creation Counseling Center and an ordained minister. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Wright State University, a Master of Science degree in Gerontology from Miami University and a Master of Science degree in Theology from Anderson University School of Theology. She has 30 years of experience in the helping professions including social work, teaching, human resources administration, pastoral work in a church setting, and pastoral counseling.
Carla Batdorf is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Education and Allied Professions from University of Dayton. Carla works with children and adults and specializes in grief counseling, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions along with a host of other specialties. She is also a member of the Ohio Counseling Association.
Sherryl Beard is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with 33 years of experience in behavioral health, including chemical dependency treatment, hospital settings, community mental health and private practice. Sherryl works with adults of all ages with a variety of problems including depression, anxiety, grief, chronic medical problems and pain and life transitions. She is a member of Concord United Methodist church in Englewood.
Mark Cowley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Liberty University. He is currently teaching Psychology, Sociology and Counseling at Edison Community College. Mark specializes in compulsive behaviors and sexual addictions and has been with New Creation for over twelve years.
Nancy Dallman is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Education from University of Dayton and a Master of Arts degree in Religion/Pastoral Ministry from Athenaeum of Ohio. Nancy has had over 15 years of counseling experience and she is a member of the American Counseling Association.
Ralph Harrod is a facilitator in the New Creation Counseling Center Life Skills program. He has as Associate’s degree in Human Services from Edison Community College and has worked as an employment consultant for developmentally disabled adults. He has been a lay pastor at Ginghamsburg Church for the past 10 years.
Vicky Kettering is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Wright State University. She has over nine years experience working primarily with children and families but also has experience working with adults. Vicky specializes in parent training, teenage depression, ADHD, and play therapy. She is a member of the Ohio Counselor’s Association and St. Rita Catholic Church.
Jerry Knapke is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in public education as a teacher, administrator and counselor for the past 30 years. His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Education from Wright State and then further education at University of Dayton to earn his license as a Mental Health Counselor. Jerry also has a Doctoral degree in Educational Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Kent State. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Troy.
David Lauffenburger is a Licensed Psychologist who has been in practice in community mental health for over 30 years. He has vast experience working with children and adolescents. David is a member of Stillwater Church in Vandalia.
David Lovely is an ordained pastor of New Manna Community Church in Dayton and a pastoral counselor at New Creation Counseling Center. His experience includes grief counseling as a chaplain at a Dayton hospital and ministering to teens at a local correctional facility. David has a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling and is a member of the Miami Valley Chaplains Association.
Anna Oparah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master of Education in Counseling from Vanderbilt University. Anna is experienced in working with adult women, but is also qualified to work with families, couples, and adolescents. She has a particular interest in women's issues, spirituality, codependency, self-esteem, identity formation, depression, anxiety, and a wide array of life-controlling issues. Anna is also skilled in group counseling and works with the New Creation Counseling Center Life Skills program.
Roslyn Prigg is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Wright State University. She works with children and families as well as adults on a number of clinical issues. Roslyn is certified by Light University in child advocacy and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Maggie Vent is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling and additional course work in Professional Clinical Counselor studies from Ashland Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from University of Dayton. She has experience in community mental health and private practice, working with a number of adult issues including tobacco dependence, trauma, PTSD, depression, grief and anxiety.
Jill White is a Licensed Social Worker with a Masters of Science degree in Mental Health counseling from the University of Dayton. Jill’s experience encompasses many aspects of marriage and family counseling including parenting, adoption, divorce, reconciliation, abuse, children’s issues and angry teens. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
