Which airport is closest to Ginghamsburg?

Is transportation provided between the airport, hotels and Ginghamsburg as well as to the experiential "on location" training sites around the area?

  • Sorry. Ginghamsburg does not have the capacity to provide transportation. Please plan to rent a car (available at Dayton International Airport). If you do need special transportation assistance, please contact our event registrar at 1.866.238.2930 or .

Pricing

What is the registration fee and what does the fee include?

  • Churches are invited to bring up to 5 team members for a total registration fee of $500. Your church's registration fee includes the 2.5-day training event (includes materials, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks) on October 19 through 12:30 p.m. on October 21 for up to 5 people, 10 follow-up webinars monthly following the October session, an online community and the monthly Change the World network e-zine. If you are registering as an individual, your $125 registration fee includes the 2.5-day training event (includes materials, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks) on October 19 through 12;30 p.m. on October 21. An additional $25 network fee is offered if you would like to become part of the ongoing network and benefit from the webinars, e-zine and online community.

Does the price of the network include meals or lodging?

  • Your registration does not include lodging. During the October event, morning and afternoon snacks are included on October 19-21 as well as lunch for October 19 and 20. Since the events ends on 12:30 p.m. on October 21, lunch is not included that day.

Other Questions

Can I bring my child or nursing infant to the October kick-off event?

  • While families are very important to us, the Change the World network kick-off event is just for adults. Young children and infants are not permitted in the sessions, and childcare is not available.

What are the 10 webinar topics, and when will they be broadcast over the Internet?

  • You will receive the webinar schedule and topics when you attend the October event. Your feedback regarding specific felt needs during the October kick-off may also cause the webinar topics to be modified for the later sessions.

Are only the people I bring with my church team in October authorized to be part of each webinar?

  • Since the webinars are conveniently delivered over the web to your own location, the choice of audience for those church's who register for the ongoing network is completely up to you for each session. Learn more when we meet this October.

If our team has less than 5 people currently signed up when I register, can I add others or substitute team members up until the October 20 event start date?

  • If you decide to add members to your team up to the 5 maximum, we would appreciate knowing two weeks prior to October 20 so that we can ensure we are fully prepared to host your entire team. If your team size is staying the same but you plan to substitute in new team members, please alert us at ahead of time if possible so that we can prepare nametags, or simply let us know when your team checks in on October 20.

What is the dress code during the October kick-off event?

  • The dress code is casual for all events. Be sure to bring a sweater or jacket for layering in case you find a room chilly while attending a session.

Will you provide sign language interpretation or translation into Spanish during the October kick-off event?

  • We do not currently provide sign language interpretation or Spanish translation. However, if you need special assistance in the case of a disability, please contact our event registrar about your specific needs at 1.866.238.2930.

May I record the sessions?

  • Sessions should not be either video or audio recorded. However, for selected presentations, audio and/or video may be available for purchase in the Ginghamsburg bookstore. See the bookstore staff when you are here for details. Also, for promotional and marketing purposes, Ginghamsburg reserves the right to use any audio, video and/or photography of attendees acquired during the conference.
