    • - Located in the corn fields just north of a mid-sized city still tied to the industrial age in the rust belt of Ohio

  • Nice to know the successes, but so what?

    • In one year's time, more than:
      - 15,000 fed in the local community
      - 1100 families provided with cars, furniture, clothes or rent and utility assistance
      - 90+ mission opportunities for all ages completed to locations around the world
      - 65,000 children, women and men fed in the Sudan
      - 15,000 displaced children in Darfur provided with protection, education and healthcare
      - 60,000 Sudanese and their livestock provided with safe water through the completion of four water yards. At the end of a four-year project, 15 water yards will be installed and provide clean water for over 220,000 Sudanese and their livestock.

Registration

  • How do I register?

    • To register online, click here. To register over the phone, please call our conference registrar at 1.866.238.2930.

  • Can I share a registration with a friend or co-worker? 

    • The Change the World conference does not provide the option to share registrations between two or more individuals.

  • Can I attend the conference for just one day?

    • We encourage you to participate in the entire event. There are no reduced registration fees for partial attendance.

  • Can our church qualify for the Group Rate if registration is not done at the same time? 

    • To qualify for group rate, all registrations must be submitted together.

  • What is your cancellation/transfer policy?

    • The registration fee will be refundable less a $25 processing fee for up to 30 days prior to the conference. There are no refunds after that date; however, substitutions will be allowed or fees paid may be applied to any Ginghamsburg conference offered within the next 12 months.

  • What if I'm taking someone's place at the conference? 

    • If you know in advance that you will be coming in someone's place, please call the conference registrar at 1.866.238.2930, and our staff will be happy to adjust the registration. If it is a last minute change, simply check in the day of the conference by picking up the original registrant's materials. We will prepare a new name tag for you at that time.

  • Can I check in early -  the day or night before the conference?

    • We do not offer early check-in. For the pre-conference intensive on Thursday, October 23, registration begins at 8 a.m. For the Change the World conference, registration is from 8-9 a.m. on Friday, October 24.

  • Do I need to choose which breakout I want to attend when I register? 

    • You do not need to tell us which breakouts you want to attend when you register. You can choose any breakout offered in any given time slot while attending the conference.

  • Can I pay for my registration upon arriving at the conference?

    • Your registration is not complete until we receive payment. So if you do not pay ahead of time, you're not officially registered.   • Which airport is closest to Ginghamsburg?

  • Is transportation provided between the airport, hotels and Ginghamsburg? 

    • Ginghamsburg does not provide transportation. Please plan to rent a car (available at Dayton International Airport) or contact your hotel to see if a shuttle service is available.

Pricing

  • Does the price of the conference include meals or lodging?

    • Your registration does not include lodging. For pre-conference intensive attendees, lunch is provided. During the conference, morning and afternoon snacks are included as well as lunch for both days.

  • Who qualifies for the student rate?

    • The student rate is broken up into two classes: seminary and high school. Seminary students can attend for $79 (with a copy of their student ID). High school students can attend for $59. Check out the special high school track available at this year's conference.

  • Can I bring my child or nursing infant to the conference? 

    • While families are very important to us, the Change the World conference is just for adults. Young children and infants are not permitted in the sessions, and childcare is not available.

  • What is the dress code during the conference?

    • The dress code is casual for all events. Be sure to bring a sweater or jacket for layering in case you find a room chilly while attending a session.

  • Will you provide sign language interpretation or translation into Spanish during the conference?

    • We do not currently provide sign language interpretation or Spanish translation. However, if you need special assistance in the case of a disability, please contact our conference registrar about your specific needs at 1.866.238.2930.

  • May I record the sessions?

    • Sessions should not be either video or audio recorded. However, for selected presentations, audio and/or video may be available for purchase in the conference bookstore. See the bookstore staff when you are here for details. Also, for promotional and marketing purposes, Ginghamsburg reserves the right to use any audio, video and/or photography of attendees acquired during the conference.
