Alan Hirsch, an in-demand author and speaker, serves as a mission strategist for churches across the western world and is widely recognized as a leader of the current “missional church” movement. His book The Forgotten Ways has become a key reference for what it means to be a missional movement. Alan also co-authored The Shaping of Things to Come with Michael Frost, considered to be the seminal text on mission. His most recent book, coauthored with Lance Ford, is Right Here, Right Now: Everyday Mission for Everyday People.
Mike Slaughter — The three-decade dreamer and lead pastor of…
Mike Slaughter is the three-decade dreamer of Ginghamsburg and the spiritual entrepreneur of ministry marketplace innovations. Mike's book, Change the World - recovering the message and mission of Jesus, embodies what it means to take the church into the world rather than simply coaxing the world into the church.
Rudy Rasmus — Urban church messenger and co-pastor of…
Rudy Rasmus, dynamic urban church messenger and co-pastor of St. John's United Methodist Church with his wife Juanita in downtown Houston, began his ministry with nine existing members in 1992. St. John’s has grown to over 9000 members, 3000 of these are either currently or formerly homeless. He is also the co-founder of St. John's Academy and Bread of Life, which provide an array of services to homeless women and men seven days a week. Pastor Rudy's most recent book is TOUCH: Pressing Against the Wounds of a Broken World.
