Campus Pastor

David Hood serves as the campus pastor at Ginghamsburg’s newest campus, Fort McKinley, at 3721 W. Siebenthaler Ave. in Dayton. Dave, who holds a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary and is a United Methodist Probationary Elder, has recently been selected as one of 50 nationwide participants in the Young Pastors’Network, a large church leadership deve lopment school providing mentoring, networking, spiritual growth and peer sharing opportunities under the guidance of Pastors Adam Hamilton of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and Mike Slaughter of Ginghamsburg Church. Before joining Ginghamsburg’s pastoral team in August 2008, Dave was the senior pastor for Gordon United Methodist Church in Gordon, Ohio, and previously served as youth pastor at Wesley Chapel United Methodist in Southern Indiana. As the campus pastor at the Fort, Dave provides leadership and focus to Ginghamsburg’s ministry and mission into urban communities.
