Our Mission:
To assist families in connecting their children with God through
Jesus Christ.
During our winter quarter, we will focus the Family Mission on our church’s main source of outreach here at Ginghamsburg Church, through New Path ministries. For the next several months we will dive deeper into mission as we serve the different ministry areas within New Path. These ministry areas include the Food Pantry (provides assistance w/ groceries), Anna’s Closet (provides assistance w/ clothing), Gateway Café (provides a weekly hot meal) and Paws4Hope (provides assistance with pets).
Pray about your role in this mission, and discuss it with your family. Pick a stride below that you can successfully complete. Our Children’s Ministry challenges you and your family to journey with Jesus serving your local community.
- STEP with Jesus by reaching out to make a difference
Partner in prayer with your church family for the New Path ministries. Pray for those who faithfully serve each week so that our resources are available to the community in need. Pray for God’s provision over our brothers and sisters in our own neighborhoods, as well as the pet owners in our area that are struggling. - WALK with Jesus by touching lives in a more personal way
Donate one or more of the following items from your home, and drop them off at the Mission Station in your child’s classroom. Go through your own food pantry at home and donate any non-perishable items that you can part with! Clean out your closet and donate any of your gently used clothes or shoes that you’ve grown out of. All sizes are welcome! Donate any household items in good condition like towels, dishes, sheets, toys and home décor. Also, any old leashes, extra cat or dog food or flea treatments. - JOG with Jesus together for God’s purpose
Purchase one or more of the following new items below, and place into the Mission Station in your child’s classroom: food, clothing, household items or pet supplies. Items may include canned goods, kitty litter, home décor and socks. - RUN with Jesus by serving with your family
Serve together with your family at Gateway Café on the Ginghamsburg Main Campus on Monday, February 22, from 4-7 p.m. as we prepare and serve dinner to the Gateway Café community and clients. We will also provide some special activities for the Gateway Café children. We will need meal donations, preparers and servers to make this happen! So please RSVP to Erica Sharp at 937.667.1069 ext. 277 or esharp(at)ginghamsburg.org.
