
There are three components to the marriage preparation process at Ginghamsburg. All three components must be completed in order to be married at Ginghamsburg Church or by a Ginghamsburg pastor.

MARRIAGE PREP 101: ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTATION
This time set aside to meet with a representative of Ginghamsburg's marriage preparation ministry is designed to get to know you and your fiancé as well as to discuss marriage preparation at Ginghamsburg. After thoughtful consideration and choosing to move ahead with marriage plans, you will be given our wedding packet to help in planning your wedding. You will also be connected with one of Ginghamsburg's wedding coordinators. At this time you will be registered to take the PREPARE Couple Inventory.
MARRIAGE PREP 201: The PREPARE Couple Relationship Inventory
PREPARE is a relationship assessment that helps you identify areas of compatibility as well as growth areas to be worked on with your fiancé. Topics covered in the assessment include spiritual beliefs, marriage expectations, conflict resolution, role relationships and financial management among others. You will have many opportunities to discuss your assessment results with your fiancé and practice communication skills under the guidance of your marriage coaches.
MARRIAGE PREP 301: COACHING AND CELL COMMUNITY
When you enter the marriage preparation process at Ginghamsburg, you will be matched with a couple who will serve as your marriage coaches and be available to you throughout your marriage preparation process. They will be with you as mentors who will process your inventory results with you and guide you through a pre-marital curriculum. As you study, discuss and grow together, you will lay a solid foundation for your lifetime as a married couple and develop strong friendships to support you in the years ahead.
The cost of marriage preparation at Ginghamsburg is $85, which includes the cost of the PREPARE Couple Inventory and all materials.
