What's the difference...between a singles club and a singles ministry?
A singles club exists for the social purposes of adult singles. A singles ministry addresses and serves the total needs of single adults--spiritual, relational, social and healthy lifestyle.
If you're looking for a safe place to meet new like-minded friends, have a good time, and grow into all the potential God has created you to have through relationship with Jesus Christ, Ginghamsburg Singles Ministry is the place for you. You don't have to be a Ginghamsburg member to attend.
We publish a monthly singles ministry newsletter, which describes everything that's happening. Newcomers are welcome (and show up) at every event--so if you're a first time visitor, you won't be the only one! If you'd like to receive the monthly newsletter in the mail, please call us at 937.667.1069 ext. 221, or adultdiscipleship(at)ginghamsburg.org. Let us know also if you'd rather receive an email version rather than through regular mail.
Open for single adults of all ages and circumstances, every week we offer up to six tables of card playing, free line dance lessons (beginners from 6 to 7 and intermediate from 7 to 8), free ballroom dance lessons from 8 to 10 each Sunday night - all of this in addition to some wonderful people to meet and develop friendships and support. There's something for everyone!
...Or are you still struggling with issues from your divorce? Attend "DivorceCare" any Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the South Campus ARK (just down the road south from our Main Campus). No preregistration is necessary - just show up for confidential support and new information to help you get your life back on track. DivorceCare4Kids, a ministry for children of divorcing or divorced parents, takes place at the same time during the school year. For more information email divorcecare(at)ginghamsburg.org.
You've never been to a singles dance with as much class as ours! We hold one awesome dance each month (check our singles newsletter for dates and dance location). The charge is $6/person (or $5 plus a non-perishable food product for the Ginghamsburg food pantry). Free dance lessons and snacks/soda/door prizes provided. DJ music, hardwood dance floor...and, best of all, smoke-free and alcohol-free environment. You'll enjoy the company of more than 300 singles of all ages from the greater Miami Valley area.
