Paws4hope ministry is an outreach program to serve single parents, the disabled and the elderly with needed pet food, vet care services and educational resources regarding their family pets
PAWS 4 HOPE has partnered with New Path Ministries to provide pet food to those families with cats and dogs. Interested families can include their pet food needs on New Path's food pantry application or ask a food pantry volunteer for more information.
PAWS 4 HOPE, in partnership with Tipp City Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Center, offers single parents on a fixed income, people on SSI or SSD, or the elderly (65+) help with the necessary pet care services. The services include a physical exam and annual shots for $15. An application must be completed and given to a food pantry volunteer before an appointment can be made. A representative from PAWS 4 HOPE will contact you about an available appointment date and time for you and your pets to visit the veterinary hospital. Appointments are made on a first-come-first-served basis once applications are received.
The local veterinarians and coordinators of the PAWS 4 HOPE ministry team have designed an educational class for pet owners taking part in veterinary services. The class will help pet owners gain knowledge in regard to a pet's wellness, provide resources to help homeless furry friends and information of other community resources.
