Around 200,000 college students and 20somethings live in the metro-Dayton area, and all of them are in search of purpose and life. This is an age of self discovery... of finding out who we really are…breaking away from the parental safe zone…embracing new adventures…finding our life’s calling…getting married…. embracing life. This is one of the most critical times in our lives. And yet also it can be a time of great loneliness and brokenness…college and 20somethings everywhere who are trying to discover satisfaction and meaning in life and not finding it…resulting in wasted years of pain and unhappiness.
God cares for this generation and so do we. So the Lord has put it on our hearts to begin a new movement known as Radiate. Radiate originates from Philippians 2:14-15: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. We believe that God is calling us as a generation to shine as a star in the universe in such a way that all the darkness in the world is pushed back and people can come into the light and find life in Jesus Christ. Our passion is to radiate the light of Christ in such a way that it not only changes our lives but the world around us. So we invite you to join this new movement of God.

Mark your calendars for the Radiate Spring Retreat at Camp Wesley in Bellefountaine, Ohio. You'll leave from Ginghamsburg's parking lot on Friday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m. and return on Saturday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. If you need to return earlier, contact Matt McNeece to arrange alternate transportation.
