Anger is often irrational, destroying logical reasoning with blind emotion. God calls us to master the sin that seeks to destroy us.
Genesis 4:6-8
Reread Genesis 4:6-8.
- Describe a time you recently lost your temper? What was the result?
- Name some of your “triggers” that often push you into irrational anger.
- Do you deal with your anger on a daily basis? How do you do that?
- Even though no one deserves God’s amazing love, how do you still try to earn it?
- What is something you’ve done for which you need to forgive yourself?
- Which daily practice must you begin to improve your emotional health?
