:  [re]building brokenness
Sunday, Jan 07 2007

God longs to rebuild the broken places in our lives. Just as Nehemiah began by identifying his own personal need for God, we too must first trust God for [re]building brokenness -- messages from the book of nehemiah.

Reread Nehemiah 1:1-4

  1. What structures/boundaries did you have or not have in your family as a child? How did that affect your family as a whole?
  2. Have you ever needed a “do over” in life? Describe.
  3. Have you ever been a part of rebuilding someone else’s life? Explain.
  4. What things do you see around you that breaks the heart of God? Do they break your heart as well? What can you do about it?
  5. How is God telling you to move forward in God’s rebuilding of your life and/or this world?
