Life is all about growing, graduating, and moving up to new levels, new places and new relationships. But it is also about God’s great desire for us to move deeper in our relationship together and working through us to build the kingdom of heaven on this planet. In fact God’s plans and purpose for you is bigger than you can even imagine.
- Name some things in which you have graduated? What are those things in which you didn’t graduate?
- Have you moved to new levels or new places in life with God in the past few years? Explain.
Read Luke 9:23-24. In order to fully live out the life that God has for you, you must first let go. To fully let go you must first overcome the feeling of being inadequate to do what God is calling you to do and begin letting God place you and use you for God’s glory and purpose.
- Have you ever felt God’s call to do something, go somewhere, talk with someone, etc. and felt totally incapable or unqualified? What happened?
- How often do you allow God the opportunity to give you direction in your life?
The second thing you need to do to let go is to fully depend upon God and hold on to God more than the other things in which you trust on a daily basis. At times you hold yourself back from doing the great work and call of God because you hold onto other things, like family, job, relationships, location, etc. instead of God who is your true foundation and security.

What is something you trust and hold onto more than you trust and hold onto God?
Read Exodus 33:14-15. After you let go of those securities and feelings, it is time then to let God use you to become a mighty force on this planet. At times it seems you may be facing huge mountains and large obstructions, but God is faithful and will not only show you the way, but allow you to be apart of great and miraculous things.

God needs you and many more fighters for the kingdom, but you must first let go and let God and then watch as God gives you life, purpose and eternal meaning to your life.
