Love your neighbor as yourself... the greatest command yet the hardest to accomplish. We cannot truly love ourselves as God loves us, until we evaluate our lives and take a deep look at what is holding us back from loving others.

Mark 12:28-34
David Olshine
  1. Do you love yourself? Why or why not?

  2. Do you think of Jesus as more unemotional and stoic or as emotionally full of life? Explain.?

  3. What generally makes you emotionally numb? How do you restore yourself?

  4. How often do you do a self-evaluation of your life and actions? How has God been able to transform you that process?

  5. Describe a time God used pain in your life to help transform you for the better.

  6. Pray that God will help you look at the 90% of you beneath the surface. What next step will you take to allow God to transform some of your "stuff"?
