Pentecost marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, God's grace and the promises of Jesus. Through our own waiting and repentance, we also become a witness to the power of God, allowing people to see the love and life of Christ in us.
- What do you know about the Holy Spirit and what questions do have?
- Are you good at waiting or are you more impatient than you should be? Why do you think that is?
- Describe a time you asked God for direction, help or inspiration God answered you.
- If you can remember, describe your baptism to the group. Did feel God's presence and what was it like?
- Have you ever felt the Spirit come over you in a powerful way? What happened?
- How do you rely on the Holy Spirit in your everyday life as a follower of Jesus? Do you need to rely on the Spirit more?
- How do you keep yourself "in the fire" demonstrating the love of Christ to those around you?
