Americans celebrate Independence Day this weekend, recognizing that freedom is the pursuit of all people. We desire lives free from contradiction and deceit, free from role playing or game playing, ultimately seeking freedom to be all we really wanted...and were designed...to be. It is the Holy Spirit who frees us to reach our highest potential.
- How do you regularly celebrate living free here in America? Do you think you take freedom for granted?
- Name some things that you do every day out of duty. What about out of desire.
- Where has the Holy Spirit been driving you lately in being more devoted to God and God's purposes for your life?
- How are you keeping yourself immersed in God's word outside of church or cell group? How does that help you live a devoted life to Christ?
