Sex can make you cRaZy. There's OUR way of navigating the rough road toward intimacy - and then there's GOD'S way - MUCH better of course - since God created us and all. But how to find THAT road? And might there be a plan for intimacy in singleness as well?

Join Pastor Mike for this weekend's edition of our popular series about all things marriage...

Growing Intimacy in a Sexually-Charged Culture

Sex can make you cRaZy. There’s OUR way of navigating the rough road toward intimacy – and then there's GOD’S way - MUCH better of course – since God created us and all. But how to find THAT road? This week’s study will focus on true intimacy in regards to our sexuality.  Daily devotionals that accompany each day's reading are also available on Facebook. They are created by a great Ginghamsburg unpaid servant team. You do not have to be a Facebook user to access them. View here.

Day 1: Read 1 Corinthians 6:12-20
What does this passage have to say about our sexuality? How is sexual immorality a sin against our own body?

Day 2: Read Song of Solomon 2
According to this passage, is sex a good thing or a bad thing? Explain. Put verse 7 in your own words.

Day 3: Read Hebrews 13:1-10
What do you think it means to keep the marriage bed pure? How do we honor marriage?

Day 4: Read 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Why does the author warn us about being yoked together with unbelievers?  How does this challenge you?

Day 5: Read 2 Samuel 13:1-22
This is a disturbing passage, but it is a powerful one as well. What does it have to say about the destructive nature of lust? Put verse 15 in your own words.

Day 6: Read Proverbs 5
What does this passage have to say about sexual immorality and adultery?   How does it challenge you?

Day 7: Read 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12
What does being sanctified and avoiding sexual immorality have to do with one another? Is sex just a physical act? Explain.
