Questions to go Deeper

Life gets crazy – stuff happens! – and how we navigate through the challenges makes all the difference in the world. Join us in worship this weekend as we learn a few new “moves” for stepping forward into God’s best NEXT. Daily devotionals that accompany each day's reading are also available on Facebook. They are created by a great Ginghamsburg unpaid servant team. You do not have to be a Facebook user to access them. View them here.

MONDAY: Genesis 12:1-4
God made a promise to Abram: to bless him and to make Abram and his family a blessing for others. What did Abram have to do in order to fulfill the promise? What is God asking you to do in order to receive a “blessing”?

TUESDAY: 2 Samuel 6:12-15
David celebrates God’s goodness through dancing. Have you ever “danced” before the Lord? Name something that God is doing in your life that you can celebrate.

WEDNESDAY: Numbers 23:18-24
When God makes a promise God does not change God’s mind. What promises are you holding on to today? What is trying to persuade you to believe something contrary to the promises of God?

THURSDAY: Psalm 121
When you are face to face with change where do you look for help? What is the promise of this Psalm? Write out the Psalm in your own words asking God to help you in the middle of transition.

FRIDAY: Hebrews 11:8-12
Abraham had faith that God would fulfill God’s promise. How did Abraham respond to God’s promise? How is God asking you to respond to God’s promises?

SATURDAY: 2 Corinthians 1:15-22
All promises are a yes in Christ Jesus. Today what do you need to claim as a promise of “Yes!” Write out a prayer declaring “yes” to the promises of God.

SUNDAY: Romans 8:37-39
When challenged by change always remember the depth of God’s love. What does the writer say about God’s love? Reflect on this scripture, and respond on how this challenges your understanding of faith.
