SHIFT HAPPENS - and while God’s character never changes, God’s Spirit actively lives and moves into the next space of our lives. Join us for true worship and celebration as Pastor Chris joins Pastor Mike to share our weekend message…

Questions to go Deeper

We usually think of God’s presence in terms of past traditions or static practices, but truth is, God is in the change. SHIFT HAPPENS - and while God’s character never changes, God’s Spirit actively lives and moves into the next space of our lives. Daily devotionals that accompany each day's reading are also available on Facebook. They are created by a great Ginghamsburg unpaid servant team. You do not have to be a Facebook user to access them. View them here.

MONDAY: Isaiah 43:16-19
God declared in Isaiah “I am doing a new thing!” What new thing is God doing in your life? What is God’s next for you?

TUESDAY: 2 Samuel 7:1-7
Sometimes we want God to stop moving, but today’s scripture reveals God is a God who has always been on the move. Do you ever struggle with wanting to contain change or God’s movement?

WEDNESDAY: Mark 2:18-22
What practices and/or habits do you need to let go of in order to experience God’s NEXT? What new practices and/or habits do you need to learn to experience God’s NEXT?

THURSDAY: John 15:1-4
How connected to Jesus (the Vine) are you? What are you doing every day to remain connected to the Vine? A good test of your connection is fruit or evidence of God’s work in your life. Name the “fruit” of your connection.

FRIDAY: Hebrews 11:8-12
Abraham moved to a new country without fully knowing God’s NEXT for his life. He trusted God and stepped out in faith. Where is God asking you to trust and step out in faith? What responsibilities or fears are holding you back?

SATURDAY: Hebrews 13:7-9
What does the writer of Hebrews mean when he says Jesus is the “same yesterday and today and forever”? Do you trust that promise? What does that promise mean for your life?

SUNDAY: Psalm 118:24-29
Today is a beautiful day! God promises to be with us everyday, even when we are unsure of the outcome. Write out a prayer thanking God for today and asking God to help you trust God’s NEXT.
