For whatever reason, God doesn’t zap humans into PERFECTION. There’s something about the journey, the PROCESS of life-renewal that makes the heart of God glad. This weekend in worship we’ll discover what it means to be equipped and engaged into the community of Christ as the life-pieces are being rebuilt. Do YOU have the guts to take on a full–life renovation?

Questions to go Deeper

For whatever reason, God doesn’t zap humans into PERFECTION. There’s something about the journey, the PROCESS of life-renewal, that makes the heart of God glad. Do YOU have the guts to take on a full–life renovation? Daily devotionals that accompany each day's reading are also available on Facebook. They are created by a great Ginghamsburg unpaid servant team. You do not have to be a Facebook user to access them. View them here. MONDAY: Ephesians 4:1-6
We are ONE, but what does unity look like in the church? How have you seen unity practiced? Why is unity important?

TUESDAY: Acts 10:24-48
Cornelius was an outsider with very different eating habits than Peter. What happens to Cornelius and his family after Peter realizes God’s vision for people is bigger than Peter initially thought? Whom do you see as outsiders? How is God challenging you to widen your vision for people?

WEDNESDAY: Ephesians 4:7-13
You have gifts that were given to you by God. What are your gifts? How are you using your gifts to build other people up?

THURSDAY: 1 Thessalonians 5:4-11
The Jesus followers in this scripture were being persecuted. What encouragement did Paul give those followers of Jesus? How are you developing life-giving relationships with other followers of Jesus?

FRIDAY: Psalm 27
Whom do you turn to when life gets rough? How does God respond to our most challenging days? Do you rely on God for strength?

SATURDAY: James 2:14-26
Faith without works is dead! If we are saved by grace, what part do “works” play in our faith? How can works grow your faith and the faith of others? How is God challenging you to get to work?

SUNDAY: Ephesians 4:14-16
God actually wants us to grow up in our faith. Take a spiritual inventory of your life. When have you seen growth? When have you remained stagnant in your faith? Where are you now, and what will move you from here to where God is calling you to be?
