"Me thinks the whole world is crazy except me and thee; and sometimes I wonder about thee." Ever been there? We’ve been taught to conform and celebrate SAMENESS - but what if the kingdom of God points a different way? What if God’s creation intended huge, gaping, unique DIFFERENCES? How might that work for us?

Join us this weekend as Pastor Chris opens God’s word and a brand new series with a message of hope for those who’ve never quite fit in.

Questions to go Deeper

"Me thinks the whole world is crazy except me and thee; and sometimes I wonder about thee." Ever been there? We’ve been taught to conform and celebrate SAMENESS - but what if the kingdom of God points a different way? What if God’s creation intended huge, gaping, unique DIFFERENCES? How might that work for us? Daily devotionals that accompany each day's reading are also available on Facebook. They are created by a great Ginghamsburg unpaid servant team. MONDAY: Genesis 1:1-4, 6-7, 14, 18, 26, 31
We serve a God who loves to create by calling out our differentness, and we are made in God’s image. What does this say about us?

TUESDAY: Isaiah 40
One key heart issue is our need for control. Notice how mighty, strong and powerful God is depicted in Isaiah 40. Do any problems in your life need refocused in light of these truths?

WEDNESDAY: Mark 10:35-45
A second heart issue is self-absorption. What was the focus of James and John? Invite the Holy Spirit to expose any areas of self-absorption in your life.

THURSDAY: Philippians 2:3-8
A third heart issue is pride. Whom could you value above yourself? Invite the Holy Spirit to show you the roots of any pride in your life.

FRIDAY: Matthew 12:33-37
Jesus was much more concerned about our heart than our outward appearance. What do your last careless words reveal about your heart’s true condition?

SATURDAY: 1 Peter 2:9 What does it mean to be chosen? Royal? A Priest? Holy? God’s special possession? Meditate on your unique status today.

SUNDAY: Colossians 3:9-15
How can you “clothe” yourself with these characteristics today? Describe your status as a child of God.
