LOVE THE 937
October 16, 2016
It's fall in the 937: the sun is shining, the pumpkins are gleaming and all is right in the world. Until, of course, it isn't. Stuff happens, and our worlds are quickly turned upside down. What happens then?
Jesus told us to gather in groups of two, three or more - where we'll discover that hope is resurrected in relationship. Don't try to do life alone. Join us this weekend in worship -

Questions to go Deeper
It’s fall in the 937: the sun is shining, the pumpkins are gleaming, and all is right in the world. Until, of course, it isn’t. Stuff happens, and our worlds are quickly turned upside down. What happens then?
Jesus told us to gather in groups of two, three or more - where we'll discover that hope is resurrected in relationship. Don’t try to do life alone. – Love the 937. GO TOGETHER.
Daily devotionals that accompany each day's reading are also available on Facebook. They are created by a great Ginghamsburg unpaid servant team. You do not have to be a Facebook user to access them. MONDAY: Luke 24:13-21
“I had hoped...” Ever use that phrase when talking about disappointment, disillusionment or even doubt? What hopes have you lost? Name the parts of your life that need some hope.
TUESDAY: Genesis 2:15-18
We were created for relationship, but do you ever feel alone? Do you have people “to do life with”? Who are the healthy people in your life that can speak the truth in love into your circumstances?
WEDNESDAY: Matthew 18:15-20
Relationships are not always easy. Sometimes there are bumps and even bruises in our relationships. How does Jesus want us to handle sin and conflict? What does Jesus promise in the middle of our relationships?
THURSDAY: Luke 24:19-27
Do you ever struggle with doubt? How do you handle doubt? Do you search for answers? How do these two travelers handle their doubt with Jesus? How does Jesus address their doubt?
FRIDAY: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
What is the writer attempting to teach you about relationships? Who is in your “cord”? Is God a part of your “cord”? If you are not already in a life group, contact [email protected] to find out more information about how to get connected to others and find your “cord.”
SATURDAY: Luke 24:28-35
The Supernatural is found in the Simple. What simple act helped the two travelers see Jesus? Where do you see Jesus alive and at work in your relationships? Are you sharing that hope with other people?
SUNDAY: Acts 2:42-47
Acts 2 gives us a picture of what a 1st century life group looked like. What surprises you about these followers’ relationships with one another? What would be hard for you to practice? What practices would help you grow in your relationship with Jesus and others?
