LOVE THE 937
September 17, 2017
Reaching out to LOVE the 937 is all about relationships - but it's not all easy. And being people of forgiveness is absolutely at the heart of the matter. It's Jesus' original plan for launching a movement of God - through our communities, our families and our closest of relationships. Join us for week two of this "close to home" series!

LOVE the 937
Reaching out to LOVE the 937 is all about relationships – but it’s not all easy. And being people of forgiveness is absolutely at the heart of the matter. It’s Jesus’ original plan for launching a movement of God – through our communities, our families and our closest of relationships.
LOVE THE 937:
MONDAY: James 4:1
Sometimes we hold anger in our hearts and let our unmet expectations fuel our anger. Today take a look into yourself. In what section of your life do you hold anger? Is there a person or circumstance that really just upsets you?
TUESDAY: Ephesians 4:26-27
A lack of forgiveness sabotages self. Whom do you need to forgive today? Is there a conflict you can take the first step to resolve?
WEDNESDAY: Matthew 5:21-22
A lack of forgiveness hurts others. Is there someone you have hurt with your anger that you can apologize to? What are some ways you can keep your anger from hurting someone else?
THURSDAY: Matthew 5:23-24 A lack of forgiveness diminishes the very movement of God. How has anger or unforgiveness in your life changed your decisions? Can you let go of it? How can you move on?
FRIDAY: Romans 12:18
Forgive Quickly: It’s Jesus’ better way! Practicing daily forgiveness is a healthy life discipline. How can you create peace in your relationships? Where are there things you can let go of?
SATURDAY: Matthew 18:21-22, 1 Chronicles 16:11
Sometimes forgiveness is a longer, harder process. Begin today by writing down people and situations you need to let go of. As you are able to truly forgive, cross them off the list.
SUNDAY: 1 John 5:14, Matthew 6:9-14
As we ask of God then God will answer our prayers. Today let us pray together, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
