Yet the Bible's age-old wisdom offers an invitation to welcome those we consider "other," embrace those we label "different" and engage those with whom we disagree. What if the pathway to God's dream were as simple as making some new friends?

MONDAY: Exodus 2:1-10
Looking at this bible passage do you ever wonder why? What in Pharaoh’s daughter’s past made her have compassion on the Hebrew child? Who have you let into your life unexpectedly? How did that turn out?
TUESDAY: Acts 2:5-11
The Holy Spirit allows for the spread of the gospel by enabling them to understand other languages. What communication barriers do we struggle with in our current culture? What does this show you about God’s perspective on human variety?
WEDNESDAY: Ephesians 2:13-14
What conflicts and levels of division do you struggle with in your own life? What does this verse tell us about our true source of resolution?
THURSDAY: Luke 19:1-10
Jesus ate with sinners despite the stigma it caused. Who have you invited to eat with you? What picture is Jesus living out of God’s preferred kingdom?
FRIDAY: Genesis 27:1-25; 33:1-11
How would you feel about Jacob if you were Esau? Why do you think he forgave his brother? How is this a picture of the Kingdom of God?
SATURDAY: Luke 10:27-37
In the parable of the good Samaritan, Jesus uses characters from different cultures to illustrate a bigger truth. What are we supposed to learn from this story? How can it change you?
SUNDAY: Revelation 7:9
In this picture of heaven, what do you see? How can you help bring it about here on earth?
