Adult Missions

MISSION TRIP PREVIEW MEETINGS

Come and get an overview of all the adult mission trip opportunities we have planned at any of these one time sessions. Learn about our strategy, local mission partners and missionaries. Learn about how you and your family can partner with us as we reach out into our community, nation and world.

For ALL Trips

Step One: Register for your trip at the appropriate Eventbrite link.

Step Two: Fill out both the mission trip application and background check form. Use the buttons in the upper right-hand corner on this page to complete both forms. You must meet trip requirements to go on to step two.

Step Three: Turn in trip deposit, sign a team covenant, attend all pre-trip training meetings and meet payment deadlines.

Disaster Relief Trips (Louisiana and Texas)

Join us as we come alongside our mission partners in the ongoing flood relief in Louisiana and Texas.

Trip Dates: November 5-11 (men’s trip), March 18-24 (co-ed), June 24-30 (co-ed)
Trip Cost: $350. Cost may vary depending on location, includes food, lodging, transportation and ministry costs.
Registration deadline for November trip: Monday, October 16

 

Impact Jamaica Medical Mission Trip

Join us as we partner with American Caribbean Experience (ACE) to serve the Jamaican people through a variety of medical services in a clinic setting.

Trip Dates: February 10-17, 2018; July 8-14, 2018
Trip Cost: $1600 includes food, lodging, transportation and ministry costs
Registration deadline for February trip: October 30

 

Impact El Salvador Mission Trip

Join us as we partner with Reach Out International to serve the island of El Salvador in community health, agriculture, education, and discipleship.

Student Ministry Missions

• Ginghamsburg Students High School Mission Trip to Chicago

High school students - grade 9-12 - will serve together on an overnight mission trip in December to Chicago, IL. We’ll serve the community and share the love of Jesus with the people of Chicago. We will do some fun stuff in downtown Chicago to experience what makes this city so special. Students will serve Jesus, participate in evening devotions, and spend time in small groups and their trip journals. Student must be part of a small group to participate in this mission trip.

Trip Dates: Thursday, December 7 to Sunday, December 10
                    Leaving Ginghamsburg at 9am, Thursday, December 7
                    Returning to Ginghamsburg at 9pm, Sunday, December 10

You MUST attend the mandatory prep class.
  • Sunday, November 5 - Leaders, 7:45-8:30am
  • Sunday, November 5 - Students/Leaders, 8:30-9:30am       
  • Sunday, November 12 - Students/Leaders, 8:30-9:30am
  • Sunday, November 12 - Parents, 9:30-10am 

Cost: $300*

• Ginghamsburg Students Middle School Mission - Nashville

Middle school students  - grade 6-8 - will serve together on an overnight mission trip in January 2018 to Nashville, TN. We’ll serve the community and share the love of Jesus with the people of Nashville and we’ll do some fun stuff in downtown Nashville to experience what makes this city so special. Students will serve Jesus, participate in evening devotions, and spend time in small groups and their trip journals. Student must be plugged into a Small Group to participate in the mission trip.

Trip Dates: Friday, January 12 - Monday, January 15
                   Leaving the Avenue at 9am, Friday, January 12
                   Returning to the Avenue at 7pm, Sunday, January 15

You MUST attend the mandatory prep class.
  • Sunday, December 17 & January 7, 8:30-9:30am, Avenue 501-502
  • Mandatory Parent Meeting: Sunday, January 7, 9:30-10am
  • Leader Training: Sunday, December 17 from 7:45-8:30am

Cost: $295*
