With Adults

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS – There are opportunities for those qualified to interpret American Sign Language to serve our deaf community at all weekend services on the Tipp City Campus. Interested in knowing more, contact Jamie Szabo at

BREAKING BREAD – Would you like to give thanks by breaking bread with your church family? BARISTA WANNA-BES – Do you love coffee? Ever wanted to learn to make the perfect cup - you know, the one with the heart made out of steamed milk? Here's your shot! (Pun intended!) NEW GUEST CALLERS – Do you have the passion to share what you know about Ginghamsburg Church and enjoy talking on the phone? Then join the team calling new guests from the comfort of your home or in the church office. Contact Lynn Hinkle at or 937.667.1069 ext. 230.

With Kids

KIDS CARE TEAM – We have an awesome team who provides childcare when needed for special events. This is a part-time paid position and could be up to ten hours a week with a flexible schedule. Mornings and evenings are available. Email questions to Marcia at

WORSHIP ON SATURDAY NIGHT? – If you worship at the 5pm celebration, we have a great opportunity for you to stick around and serve at the Next Step Recovery Celebration. HUGGERS & ROCKERS – Do you give great hugs? Huggers & Rockers show God’s love to our precious little ones in order to support parents who are in worship or class. BECOME A VOICE IN A CHILD'S LIFE OR TEEN'S LIFE – Did you know kids need a second voice in their life, other than their parents, to support them in their journey? A small group leader chooses to invest in the lives of a few over time to encourage an authentic faith. For more information, contact Erica Sharp at

POWER IN THE HIGH FIVE – We want to make sure that all families entering the Family Ministry doors are greeted with a friendly smile and a high five to our kids and students! Make a good first impression and answer questions if needed. For more information, contact Erica Sharp at

SHOP & ORGANIZE 'TIL YOU DROP!? – When it comes to family ministry, there are always fun supplies for which to shop to enhance our kid and student experiences. Once we are done using those supplies, they also have a home in our ministry spaces to be put away. Shopping opportunities are once a month, and organizing opportunities are weekly or biweekly. ONE TO ONE – This ministry is designed to introduce Jesus to our kids who have special/behavioral needs by pairing them with an adult to build relationships with the kids and assist them with learning opportunities. Sign up in the attendance pad for information.

DO YOU HAVE A LOT OF ENERGY? – If you do, you’ll fit right in with our kids on Wednesday nights! They are excited to be in Club Orange, have fun and learn after a full day of school. Find out what a small group leader role on Wednesday nights looks like, by signing up in the attendance pad today. 
HELPING HANDS @ HOME TEAM – Use your skills behind the scenes and from the comfort of your own home to assist our ministry in preparing materials for our children’s ministry programming. Your love for crafts and projects will help for special events, classroom activities and much more! Email Marcia at
FILL-IN FRIENDS – Serve on an as-needed basis by filling in as a sub in Ginghamsburg Children’s Ministry to cover summer vacations. Training provided. Sign up in the attendance pad for information.

CLUB V.I.P. – Treat our current and new families to the V.I.P service they deserve at our starting point and check in stations. Serve at any worship hour during the weekend to answer questions and show our families great customer service. This team also helps guide our new families to their kids age appropriate spaces. BE A STORY TELLER – In three easy steps, you can be a dynamic Bible Story Teller for our kids on the weekends. This is how…. first, bring the energy. Second, be willing to dress in character. Lastly, love Jesus and love our kids. Sign up in the attendance pad for more details.

STUDENT MINISTRY HELPING HANDS – Can’t commit to a weekly role with Student Ministry? Helping Hands is the team for you! You get to serve behind the scenes by putting together guest bags, organizing stuff and spaces and completing other projects that you can do from home! MEET, GREET AND SERVE IN STUDENT MINISTRY – Seeking a few cheerful faces to serve on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings in the Avenue. Tasks vary. Welcome and direct new students or serve pizza and a smile! Contact Tina Bradley for more details,

SERVE WITH MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY – Looking for a few good men to join us as a classroom culture creator by facilitating class and guiding informal small group discussions at the 11:30am worship celebration. Sign up in attendance pad for more details.

MEDIA/MUSIC/TECH – Join Student Ministry’s worship band! Opportunities are available for high school and young adult musicians, vocalist and techs to serve on the worship team and at special events. Ongoing Serving Opportunities 

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY – Ginghamsburg's transportation ministry is one more way we can minister to those who are unable to come to church on their own. Drivers are needed on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. Become a driver and join the team by emailing Nicole at

RECEPTIONIST – Opportunities are available for friendly, helpful servants to serve in the church office answering phones, greeting guests and sharing the love of Jesus. Email

SERVE ON THE SECURITY TEAM – Ginghamsburg is looking for a few good men and women to serve on the servant security team on Saturday nights, Sunday mornings and at special events. The security team is an integral part of helping our guests feel welcomed and secure. All security team members must pass a background check. If you are interested in knowing more contact Nathan at

ONLINE CHAT HOSTS  –  Serve by connecting with homebound, traveling or new-to-Ginghamsburg folks who attend our live worship online. This connection can be done on your own laptop from home or Worship Center or from a desktop computer at the church office. A minimum of six months of active participation at a Ginghamsburg Campus is preferred. If interested, contact Seth Evans at

MORE THAN CARPENTERS  –  This ministry provides basic repairs to homeowners in our communities. We welcome GENERAL and SKILLED LABORORS of all kind: painters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and more.  We also welcome relational people who can develop friendships with the homeowners and follow up after the projects have been completed (no technical skills required!). KITCHEN KREW – Prepare meals, serve guest tables, bus tables and help clean up on the Kitchen Crew. Serving opportunities are available for Wednesday Cafe, Open Table (formerly Gateway Cafe) and weekend worship celebrations. To join the crew, email Chef Todd at

BLACKTOP BRIGADE. If you want to make a difference in those entering our church, some for the first time, then the BTB (Black Top Brigade) is for you! Direct traffic and greet guests at your leisure. Serve with New Path Outreach

DO YOU HAVE THE GIFT OF HOSPITALITY? – Open Table is a great place to welcome folks and make them feel comfortable. Serve Monday evenings from 4:30-6:30pm and receive a complimentary meal! Contact Sherry at 937.669.1213 or

DO YOU ENJOY COOKING SIMPLE MEALS AND SERVING OTHERS? - Open Table has an opportunity for you to serve once a month or every week from 3:30-6:30pm on Monday evening. NEW PATH TIME BANK – Do you enjoy helping others? Can you spare 2-3 hours a month? Join us in a new ministry that reaches into the community and meets the many needs of folks in practical ways. For more information contact Sherry at

BE A VESSEL FOR GOD’S PROVISION – Serve our neighbors at New Path 8:30-11am Monday mornings picking up donations at area grocery stores. We provide the truck, equipment and training; you provide the willing hands and hearts. Contact Marie for more information at

GEARHEADS UNITE – Do you enjoy car shows? Do you snap your head around at a burbling exhaust when it passes by on the street? Do you spend your weekend watching races? If so, you might be a gearhead! The CAR Ministry has a very special place (garage) for gearheads to repair before they are given to people who have worked hard to earn them. CLEAN GIVE BUILDING – Help the uninsured and underinsured obtain medical supplies by cleaning and sanitizing the facilities of the New Path GIVE Medical Ministry in Covington. GIVE DELIVERIES – Serve people in need by making pick-ups and deliveries of medical equipment and supplies using the New Path GIVE Medical Ministry van for two hours each week. Contact Tom at, 937.473.5195 or GIVE Facebook, for more information.

JJ’S FURNITURE MINISTRY – Last year, more than 268 households were served with furniture through JJ’s Furniture Ministry. This ministry has opportunities for servants to pick up furniture on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Contact Sherry at 937.669.1213, or email for more information.

FOOD PANTRY – In 2015, New Path’s two food pantries at The Point Campus and the South Campus Discipleship Center had a combined 29,000 visits. You can assist each one of these visitors by stocking shelves, walking with our neighbors through the pantry and picking up deliveries.
