Transformation Journal Privacy and Usage
Your Privacy
Your privacy is very important to us. Anything you write in the journal is encrypted -- which means stored in an unreadable format -- when it is saved. No Ginghamsburg staff is able to view your journals.However to ensure your privacy, you must keep your account password private. If anyone is able to login with your account name and password, they could access your journal. So please keep this information secure if you want to keep your journal private.
Also, we will keep your journal entries for at least 60 days. If for any reason, you want to remove them immediately, we can do so at your request. Please email us at tjsupport@ginghamsburg.org.
Use Policy
- The use of the TJ Online is a privilege. If you make any offensive posts to the
public forums, your account may be forced to end. An offensive post is one
deemed to have any derogatory, sexual, perverse, bigoted, or mean-spirited
comments in them. If you notice or are bothered by any public posts, please
email us at tjsupport@ginghamsburg.org
- We take care to backup your journal data. It is backed up to a second hard
drive each night. However, we cannot be responsible for lost personal journal
entry data in the event of a hardware, software or human error. Through
encryption and our internal policies, your personal journal entries are protected. However, the data in not encrypted as it travels to and from your computer; and no computer security technique is perfect. Please use your best judgment if you enter very private information.
- We will do our best to keep the TJ Online website running and available. However, we cannot guarantee that the TJ Online will be accessible on the Internet at all times.
