Ginghamsburg Recovery

Healing broken souls through Christ
Recovery Community1

Who We Are

Ginghamsburg Recovery is a community of broken people who have become whole, one-day-at-a-time, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the help of each other. Addiction and its various forms of debris often create a brokenness and subsequent wall between those afflicted and God. It is our mission to help those affected by addiction, tear down the walls, and experience the freedom and wholeness created by living a life fueled by God.

Built upon the foundation of Jesus and The Christian 12 Steps, Ginghamsburg Recovery follows Paul’s direction in Galatians 5:16-18, “So I say, live by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.”

Meet Sarah Hardin

Ginghamsburg Church Care and Recovery Pastor

Sarah has been on staff at Ginghamsburg since 2000, serving in various capacities as she explored God’s call on her life.  She now serves as a Licensed Local Pastor and is pursuing her degree in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University.  Her role at Ginghamsburg involves caring for our Ginghamsburg family and serving/coaching/encouraging our recovery leaders. Her goal is to help each person in our church family understand how great God’s love for them is.

We are a recovery group for men who struggle with lust, and meet weekly in a confidential setting. We use a 12-step program as our framework as we work towards a Christ-centered transformation. Through prayer, honesty and accountability we support each other to defeat the strongholds of pornography, infidelity and lust. We strive for sexual purity and to live out our lives as God has called us to do.

Wednesdays beginning September 8, 6:30pm

We are a Christian support group for women who have (or had) a partner who struggles(d) with lust. Women in our group have experienced emotional and intimate betrayals, such as infidelity, pornography, addictive sexual behaviors, etc. While this group supports women in and through marriage betrayal, this is not a marriage support group. This is a confidential meeting, for more information prior to attendance, please call 937.506.0479.
