Most children in foster care receive a trash bag to put their items in when they leave their homes and are placed into a new home. Join us in our mission to make sure foster children have something nice of their own to carry. Let’s fill them up with some comfort items so they can feel loved and valued.
Bring your donations and drop them off in front of the Tipp City Campus main building on Sunday, July 12, 9am-noon, or the Fort McKinley Campus (inside the building) on Sunday, July 12, 9-11am. Items needed include:
• Medium size duffle bag
• Drawstring backpacks
• 1 ½ yards solid fleece & 1 ½ yards printed fleece (both are needed to make a comfort blanket)
• Travel size soap and shampoo
• Activity books (varying ages)
• Coloring books
• Coloring pencils or crayons
• Notecard with an encouraging message for a foster child
Help is needed beyond supplies! We seek willing hands to pack bags and make blankets on Sunday, July 19. Click the link below that suits your interest. Have questions? Send an email to email@example.com.
