Being a teen ain’t easy. That’s why we provide environments where students can have a good time, connect with other students and grow up in their faith.
OUR WEEKLY PROGRAMS

YG (Youth Group)
On Wednesday evenings during the school year, from 6-8pm, students gather in the Avenue at the Tipp City Campus for a time of fun, worship, teaching, and small group discussions. From 6-6:30pm we have pizza (bring $3 for that) and a time for students to hang out and play in the gym. The program begins at 6:30pm and includes a game, great music, engaging teaching about something that matters to students, and age- and gender-based small groups, led by caring adults.

Bible Study
On Sundays at 10:30am in the Avenue Loft at the Tipp City Campus, we gather for a deeper dive into a topic that will help students grow closer to Jesus. The gathering is more discussion-focused and includes both middle and high school students. Students gather beginning at 10am for cereal and playing in the gym.
MORE STUDENT MINISTRY LIFE

Confirmation
Coming in February, 2024!
Confirmation is an eight-week course for students interested in claiming their faith for themselves. During Confirmation students learn about the foundations of the Christian faith, history of the church and what is required of them as followers of Jesus. All classes are mandatory, but a virtual make-up option will be available for students that miss a class.
Learn More
Confirmation is an eight-week class where we will be learning about the basics of the Christian faith and helping your student discover their gifts and purpose! Through this class, each student will have an opportunity to be confirmed.
Being confirmed means your student is making the decision to follow Jesus for themselves. Each student will be given a “Student Guide” to complete throughout the eight weeks of Confirmation. To be confirmed, you must complete ALL eight of the lessons in your student guides. This includes some take home activities and memory verses.
Classes will be made available online to catch up if a week is missed. All classes will need to be completed along with the workbook pages to be a part of Confirmation Sunday.
As United Methodists, we observe the practice of infant baptism whereby parents choose to have their children baptized shortly after they are born. Because of this, Confirmation serves as an opportunity for students to claim their faith in Jesus Christ for themselves in a meaningful way.
You must be baptized to be Confirmed in the United Methodist Church. If a student was not baptized as an infant, they will have the opportunity to get baptized at our Confirmation Banquet.
That’s incredible! Your student will be invited to renew their baptism vows at our Confirmation Banquet.
At the end of the course, we celebrate all students who have completed all the requirements for Confirmation. The evening consists of dinner, time of testimony from students and an opportunity for baptism. Students will be encouraged to invite all their family and friends!
We celebrate all the students who have completed the requirements for Confirmation with our church congregation. Students are given a gift and prayed over during worship.

We Are Orange
The Orange curriculum that we use while ministering to kids is centered on the church partnering with families. The Church (Yellow) is the light while the Home (Red) is the heart…when those two are combined you get Orange. We believe that the two combined influences make a greater impact than just two individual influences. We are here to walk alongside you and your family no matter what the scenario: spiritually, mentally, physically – we are your village!
