6 weeks – age 5: First Floor Kids Wing
Grade K-5: Second Floor Kids Wing
First time visiting? Here is how it works!
Once you arrive, look for the entrance with the orange benches outside! This will lead you straight into the kids and family wing. You will find an adult in an orange t-shirt who is there to help. If you enter in a different entrance and need help finding your way, look for a hospitality team member at the Connection Center in the main lobby. After you’re comfortable with the environment and volunteers, your kid will receive a name tag and a welcome gift. In the event that we would need to contact you during worship, you will receive a text message on your cell phone. We ask that you exit the Worship Center and head straight to your kid’s space and look for a staff member or volunteer.
Upon your next visit after registering, there will be a volunteer assisting with check in at an available kiosk. You will receive:
- Your kid’s name tag to be worn during worship.
- Your parent security tag to be handed to the check-out volunteer when it’s time to go home.
We want to make sure we are taking all measures possible to ensure a safe and clean environment for your kids!
We are following the same space occupancy restrictions that our Ginghamsburg Childcare Center follows, as recommended by the Ohio Department of Health, which means 6 infant/toddlers per space and 9 preschool/schoolage kids per room, plus 2 background checked/trained adults. We appreciate your grace as we reach maximum capacity in these rooms and cannot let your kids in the room. If this happens, you are more than welcome to bring your kids into worship with you.
Other measures taken:
✔️All servant volunteers and staff wearing masks
✔️No touch check-in
✔️Doors propped open
✔️No personal belongings in rooms – families with little ones are invited to leave their diaper bags in the cars and only bring necessary feeding items.
Not ready to come back yet? That’s okay! Online worship IS worship! We will still be offering a worship specifically designed for your kids online!
What To Expect
At each worship time, your kid will experience a safe and fun environment where they can experience community with kids their own age, learn about God’s plan for their life, hearing a Bible story and age appropriate praise and worship. With their small group leaders and friends, your kid will start to create memories and build relationships that will last a lifetime.
One to One Ministry
Ginghamsburg Kids has implemented a ministry program specially designed for kids with individual special/behavioral needs to introduce them to the love of Jesus and make God’s word come alive. Kids are connected with a One to One volunteer who will build a relationship and assist them with learning opportunities. A One to One application is required, and we hope you’ll schedule a time for your kid to test it out first.
If you’re looking for a quiet room to feed your child but still participate in worship, we have a nursing mother’s lounge. Otherwise, all children are welcome to join you in worship!
WE ARE ORANGE
We believe. . . Two combined influences make a greater impact than just two individual influences.
Light (yellow) + Love (red) = Orange
