Bible in One Year

Week 5: Matthew 21:33-46 | “The Rejected Stone”

It seems like God uses the most unlikely people to promote heavenly things, even salvation. Why is this? Is it because these people have a quality that others don’t? I would make the argument that God uses the most unlikely people to promote his kingdom, not because they have special qualities, but because their situations have forced them to be completely reliant on God to provide for their needs. This faith moves mountains and opens the gates of heaven! Sometimes, we feel like we don’t need to rely on God because we can provide for ourselves with our own resources. Jesus wants to be the cornerstone of your life!
